We begin by evaluating the property damage firsthand, and we work to accurately determine the cause of your loss, the corresponding date of loss, and we verify that the loss will be covered under your insurance policy. We then work to document and accurately measure the scope of damage.
We use Satellite imagery, laser measurements, drones, digital moisture testers, photography, video, digital microscopy, modeling software and advanced estimating software to evaluate the scope and cause of damages. We also work with outside engineering firms as well as analysts to properly document the damages in order to prepare sound reasoning for the valuation we place on your rebuild cost.
We also account for and fight for items such as lost business income, equipment breakdown or anything else covered under the provisions of your insurance policy.
Our in-house estimators are Xactimate™ certified and able to create detailed estimates using the same software employed by the vast majority of insurance carriers.
We work on your behalf to present our findings and estimates to your insurance carrier, usually working side by side with their adjuster to help assign the value of your covered loss.
It can be very helpful to use us to initially file your claim for damages. When your insurance carrier assigns an adjuster to adjust your claim, that adjuster is required to set initial loss reserves, which are the funds that are set aside initially by your carrier to cover the damages. If the adjuster initially expects to cover a smaller scope of damages, he can greatly undervalue your loss reserves and limit the amount that will be agreeably paid out by your insurer. When your claim is filed by a Public Adjuster, the insurance company will usually assign adjusters that are more experienced and that have more authority to extend coverage for the loss. This insurance adjuster will oftentimes set the loss reserve at a higher level, which gives the claim a better chance of a positive outcome for the property owner.
We will handle all of the communication and negotiations (where allowed by law) with your insurance carrier on your behalf. We will work to move the claim along at a faster pace.
We are glad to offer a no-obligation inspection of your property and advise you on your situation and ability to file a claim for the loss.
We also provide insurance appraisal services for policyholders disputing the valuation of their loss.
